I started working with this species in 2001 and have found them to be very enjoyable snakes. They were the first of the milksnakes I started keeping, previously having been focused on the getula and pyromelana groups.
They are a very docile species, even as hatchlings, and are a nice change from most of the hatchling cal kings.
